It isn’t actually indicated how many bedrooms Lorelai’s house has. When I created my fictional floor plans for both the first floor and second floor I gave the house a total of four bedrooms. I placed Rory’s room the first floor off the kitchen. Upstairs I gave them three bedrooms, though one was small and I decided to make it an office.
Stars Hollow was inspired by multiple small towns in Connecticut including Washington Depot, Kent and New Milford.
